AIF helps educators, mentors, parents, coaches, school leaders, and youth-serving organizations improve how they connect with and support young men and boys of color. Professional programming combines reflection, practical strategy, program design, and implementation support.
Each engagement is tailored to the audience and organizational context. Workshops may be offered as single sessions, multi-part learning series, coaching engagements, or schoolwide planning support.
Working Effectively With Boys of Color
A practical learning series that helps adults examine assumptions, strengthen relationships, improve communication, respond to student needs, and create environments where boys of color can participate, learn, and lead with dignity.
Equity-Focused Professional Learning
Interactive sessions that help teams identify barriers in policy, practice, discipline, access, and adult decision-making. Participants leave with specific actions they can apply within their classrooms, programs, schools, or organizations.
School and Program Design Support
Collaborative support for leaders developing or improving programs that serve young men and boys of color. AIF assists with purpose, participant experience, staffing, curriculum alignment, implementation planning, family engagement, and measures of success.
Connecting With Your Sons
A family-centered workshop experience that supports parents and caregivers in building communication, trust, boundaries, confidence, and stronger relationships with their sons. Sessions respect the knowledge families already hold while offering practical tools for everyday challenges.
